Park Improvements & Added Public Parking On Way!
The City will soon be seeking RFP's for paving and stripping the gravel parking lot at the multi sports field in the rear of Legacy Park. Design work continues at this time. Upon completion of the project, resealing and restriping the existing Legacy Park parking lot will be done as well.
Also, the City has completed design work and is currently seeking RFP's to add irrigation at the Kochanski Multi Sports Field this year. A contractor has been selected to add irrigation to Hansen Park and work should begin in late May, weather permitting.
Design work continues to add an approximate additional 65 paved parking spaces in and around City Hall and Legacy Park. A RFP will be used to select a contractor in early summer. In addition, the owner plans to provide a new public parking lot on the west side of Frankie Martin's Garden with access from St. Charles Street. This lot should add approximately 50 more spaces.

Gutermuth Road & Overpass
MoDOT and the St. Charles County Road Board have finished constructing an overpass on Page/364 at Gutermuth. Landscaping with fountain grasses and liriope are planned to be added to all roundabouts in 2022. The "Gutermuth" sign with the City of Cottleville logo has arrived. A contractor has been selected to install the sign and lighting to the overpass in 2022. We are on the list awaiting their availability. The St. Charles County Road Board has also dedicated funding to straighten and widen Gutermuth Road on to Motherhead Road including an 8 foot wide multi-use trail to be constructed on both sides of Gutermuth Road. Design and right-of- way acquisition continues at this time which has delayed phase 3 of the project. For more information: Gutermuth road phase 3
