New Years Day 2022, Saturday - No changes to the collection schedule.
Last day for yard waste collection is 1/26 and 1/27. Yard waste collection resumes on 3/2 and 3/3.
WRAPPING PAPER
-As long as it's not foil or foil lined, wrapping paper and boxes can be recycled in your Blue Bags* with other paper products.
LIGHT STRANDS
-After light strands no longer work, place them in your own separate Blue Bag (without other recyclables) and drop it in your trash cart to be recycled.
LIVE CHRISTMAS TREES
-Curbside collection is on normal yard waste day pickup - the tree must be cut in 3 foot sections, all decorations, lights, and stands must
be removed from the tree.
-The Earth Center will take real Christmas Trees during regular Earth Center hours. If transporting the tree in a plastic bag, please remove the bag at the Earth Center.
COOKING GREASE
-Cooking grease must be in solid form. The solid form needs to be in a sealed container and then placed inside the solid waste can.
COOKING OIL
-Any leftover oils from cooking holiday meals can be recycled at Recycle City. You can either empty the cooking oil into the designated receptacle or leave the container with the oil at the facility (note that container will NOT be returned.)
