Groundbreaking for the CWS Rotary Amphitheater Stage at  Legacy Park

Mayor Jim Hennessey and the Board of Aldermen along with representatives from the Cottleville Weldon Spring Rotary Club, recently held a groundbreaking for the Cottleville Weldon Spring Rotary Amphitheater stage. A contractor has recently been selected to erect The CWS Rotary   Amphitheater   stage in Legacy Park similar to the one shown in the picture.  The "background" work has already been done such as grading, seeding, irrigation and electrical needs at the sodded grass hill, which will be used for a seating area.  The CWS Rotary Amphitheater covered stage will be utilized for plays, small music performances, and many other fun events for local residents and area students. Plans also include new restrooms. This project has been funded by the CWS Rotary Club, Cottleville Parks &  Recreation, and various other donations! Thank you to everyone who has made this project a reality!
