The Power & Blessing of the
Jim Joslin Missions Offering
Each year at this time we ask our churches to give to our Associational Missions Offering. We call this our Jim Joslin Missions Offering in honor of the man who served the Association for more than thirty years before I came. He was not only our DOM, but he had a ministry that spanned this entire region of the country.
Through this offering, we’ve been able to support mission causes that were close to our hearts and that we couldn’t have supported if not for this offering. I want to thank our churches and pastors for your generous gifts to this offering through the years. These gifts have helped empower Kingdom leaders to carry out their ministries and have blessed untold numbers through the various ways we’ve distributed these gifts.
Please take a moment and look through the designated recipients of this years’ offering. Think about the blessing this can be to these ministry leaders and those they serve.
Then, lead your church to give a generous gift to the Jim Joslin Mission Offering this year.
The Lord will use your gift to empower and bless many!
With Thanks and Joy,

GCBA Search
Committee Update:
Thank you for your prayers as we continue our search for the next Director of Missions for the Greene County Baptist Association. We celebrate the blessing God has provided our association through the ministry and leadership of Mike Haynes, and we know that God has great plans for our churches in the days ahead as we move forward together in His kingdom. As the committee reviews candidates, pray that God will give them wisdom and direction for this important process. Pray for the next DOM, that God will direct his heart in His will. Pray that God will continue to grow the ministry of our churches as we serve Him in the years to come.
