Dear GCBA Associational Family,
It has been the blessing of our lives to serve at your side these twenty-four years. Robbi and I have so many precious memories and dear relationships we will cherish all our lives. We thank you for this privilege of serving with you and praise God for His guidance and strength.
Robbi and I will stay in Springfield. We love Springfield, Greene County and Southwest Missouri. We plan to live the rest of our lives right here. Lord willing, we will travel more, play with grandkids (here and in Alaska) more, fish more and do lots more things we’ve put off.
As doors open, I will serve as an interim pastor, supply preach and we will lead conferences and training in churches. We plan to stay active in international missions and look forward to returning to Moldova for pastors and pastors wives leadership training. If opportunities present themselves, we may do further ministry in other countries in Eastern Europe.
May the grace and joy of the Lord fill you!
With Love and Thanks,
Mike & Robbi
P.S. I hope you will join us this Sunday evening at FBC Springfield for our Annual Meeting and 150th Celebration! It will be an occasion to remember! Please read the front of the Connection regarding the exciting announcement regarding the recommendation of an Interim DOM.
GCBA Celebrates
the Ministry of
Dr. Michael Haynes:

Thank you for joining the GCBA Personnel Committee in honoring Dr. Mike Haynes for his ministry with the Greene County Baptist Association. At the Annual Meeting, this Sunday, we will take time to recognize the many ways that God has blessed the GCBA through Mike’s ministry. Under his leadership, the association established mission partnerships with Guadalajara, Mexico; Chandigarh, India; and the Eastern Nebraska Baptist Association. The GCBA moved its offices to its current location on West Battlefield, providing a convenient place for meetings, prayer, seminars, and more. Mike led our association to “Imagine a place where pastors are strengthened, church leaders are trained, mission ideas are envisioned, friendships are formed, evangelism strategies are implemented, and church plants are birthed.” We dreamed, God worked, and congregations grew through these exciting years of Mike’s ministry. We give thanks to the Lord for Mike and Robbi and all they have meant to the churches of the GCBA. Join us in praying for God’s very best as He continues to use Mike for kingdom work in the days to come.
