Welcome to March. 2019 has moved at an intense pace. It seems that a new law or regulation is passed every other day. While many local employers may find it difficult to keep up with such a whirlwind of activity, the Chamber is a great resource for employers to obtain help and stay informed. The Chamber is here to help.
While it is surprising that the first two months of 2019 have already slipped away, I am sure many of you wish to fast forward through winter. And if March 2019 is a repeat of March 2018, I wouldn't blame you. But don't be so hasty to breeze through the winter months; there are plenty of great Chamber events you can attend (when the weather cooperates).
Several weeks ago, the Chamber held its awards night, and there are many more events scheduled on the calendar. Our Business Resource Roundtable and After Hours Networking events are a great way to meet and connect with local colleagues. We also have a number of committees (such as the Young Professionals Group or the Women's Group) which would love your participation. So while it's a bit late into the year to be making New Year's resolutions, perhaps we can interest you in a First Quarter's resolution: come on down to one of our events and get involved. You may just like the people you meet.
