Leddy Group
is pleased to announce that Pam Patten joined the company as Senior Staffing Manager of the organization's
Dover office
.
Patten is charged with developing and maintaining client relationships, supervising and managing all field employees, executing full-cycle recruitment activities, and attending various networking events to promote Leddy Group's services.
Previously, she held several recruiting and
human resources positions
in area businesses and staffing agencies. Most recently, she was Staffing Manager with Exeter, NH-based Staffing Sense, which was acquired by Leddy Group in July 2019.

Seacoast Dermatology Reaches Milestone
Seacoast Dermatology PLLC earned the community's First Place honor as "Best Dermatologist" in Seacoast Media Group's 2019 Best of the Seacoast Awards. The community continues their support of the Practice for the fifth consecutive year. This year's event was held at the Blue Ocean Event Center in Salisbury. Seacoast Media Group continues to highlight local seacoast businesses through the annual contest - and resident participation has grown steadily for votes cast for their favorite businesses.
Dr. James G Dinulos, the Practice founder noted that The Best of Seacoast Awards is a special opportunity for local businesses to get feedback from the people we serve. Seacoast Dermatology is extremely proud to have consistently earned their vote of confidence. Dr. Andrew E. Werchniak also noted that Seacoast Dermatology is grateful for the community's trust for providing the best dermatology care in the seacoast area. The outpouring of support they continue to receive is heartening-and they'd like to extend their gratitude for all who voted for them and to thank Seacoast Media Group for their continued support for local business.

Leadership Seacoast Names New Board Members
Local nonprofit
Leadership Seacoast recently welcomed three new board members: Michael Mengers, Robert Gagnon and Lisa Shawney. Each will serve an initial three-year term.
Mengers graduated from the Leadership Seacoast class of 2019 and is a program manager at the
University of New Hampshire.
A graduate of the Leadership Seacoast Class of 2012, Gagnon is the senior vice president, manager of consumer lending at Cambridge Trust.
Shawney hails from the Leadership Seacoast class of 2018 and is vice president of finance and administration at Granite State College.
Concurrently, a new slate of officers was established: Astrid Wielens (chair), Olivia Korpi (vice chair), Mark Danie (treasurer), and Walter Roberts (secretary). The complete board includes members Amanda Beaulieu, Brian Bouchard, Anthony Cabral, Susan Geier, Ryan Queenan, and Sonya Merritt (past chair).

Charpentier to Receive ARCH Heritage Award
Rollinsford resident Ed Charpentier has been chosen by the Association of Rollinsford Culture and History (ARCH) as the 2019 recipient of the ARCH Heritage Award, presented annually to a person who has made significant contributions to the preservation of the history, heritage and culture of Rollinsford and the lower Salmon Falls region. The award will be presented at the organization's annual dinner and auction gala on Saturday, November 16 at Spring Hill in South Berwick, ME.
Charpentier is being honored with the Heritage Award in recognition of his devotion to the Colonel Paul Wentworth House and his enthusiasm for sharing and celebrating Rollinsford town history. His connection to the Wentworth House dates back over twenty years ago when he went in search of the Wentworth House, then located in Dover, MA where it had been moved in the 1930s by Pete Blodgett, a descendant of the Wentworth family. He formed a close and lasting friendship with the Blodgett family which eventually led to the return of the house and many historical artifacts to Rollinsford.

Dr. Kathleen Costello is a traveler of the outer and inner world. Her passion for learning and culture has taken her to 25 beautiful countries and allowed her to live in many regions of the US. Originally from Dover, Delaware, Dr. Kathleen has spent the last five years completing her Master of Science in positive psychology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree in South Carolina. Inspired by the life changing results of Network Spinal care, she left a successful career in non-profit business and marketing to pursue the healing arts. She is passionate about uplifting, empowering and inspiring people's health and life journeys through Network care and positive psychology.
Dr. Kathleen graduated valedictorian of her chiropractic class and received special distinction as a research fellow for the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation Research. She held numerous leadership roles throughout her time at Sherman College of Chiropractic and loves to educate on the innate healing and reorganizational capacity of the body. She is a life long learner herself and, in addition to her certifications in level 1 and 2 of Network Care, she has additional training and certifications in hatha and restorative yoga, meditation, neuro-emotional technique, applied kinesiology, reiki, functional medicine and integrative nutrition

HRCU Receives Award from ESGR
HRCU was recognized with the Above & Beyond Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). They were nominated for this honor by HRCU Systems Administrator Daniel West, who also serves as a Technical Sergeant in the Rhode Island Air National Guard.
The Above and Beyond Award is presented by ESGR State Committees to recognize employers at the local level who have gone above and beyond the legal requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act by providing their Guard and Reserve employees additional, non-mandated benefits such as differential or full pay to offset lost wages, extended health benefits, and other similar benefits.
The award is given in limited numbers by State Committees to employers who have had at least one of their supervisors/managers recognized with a Patriot Award, and who have signed or agree to sign an ESGR Statement of Support. In 2017, HRCU's President & CEO Brian Hughes, EVP & COO Rosemary Shields and VP of Information Technology Ken Mauser were recognized with Patriot Awards. Additionally, in 2017, Hughes signed a Statement of Support for the ESGR on behalf of HRCU.
