From Mayor Leonard Desiderio...
My sincerest thanks go to everyone who attended Sea Isle’s 2022 Vietnam War Veterans Day Ceremony on March 29 at Veterans Park. Despite brisk temperatures and a chilly breeze, we had a very nice turnout of spectators, who helped us honor the men and women who served in the U.S. Military during the Vietnam War.
As I stated during last week’s ceremony, our Vietnam veterans were our nation’s forgotten heroes for far too many years – and many of them are just beginning to receive the respect and thanks they deserve. READ MORE

From The Members of City Council...
There has not been a City Council meeting since the most recent E-Newsletter; therefore, there is not any “new” City Council news to report at this time.
Our next City Council meeting takes place on Tuesday, April 12, at 10:00 AM, at which time Council will vote on (and will likely approve) a resolution for the purchase of twenty (20) new beach access mats (aka: “Mobi Mats”). READ MORE

Schedule Change For Bulk Trash Pick-Ups
Please be aware that the Sea Isle City Department of Public Works has made a change to its City-Wide Bulk Trash Collection Schedule. Starting this spring, the City-Wide Bulk Trash Collection Day will be the second Thursday of May (not the fourth Thursday of May, as was the case in past years). Therefore, this spring’s City-Wide Bulk Trash Collection Day will be Thursday, May 12.
There is also a change to the Weekly Bulk Trash Collection Schedule. Effective immediately, Weekly Bulk Trash Collections will take place through the month of April (not through May). Here is the weekly Bulk Trash Collection Schedule (October thru April):
- 1st to 44th Street = 1st Thursday of each month
- 45th to 70th Street = 2nd Thursday of the month
- 71st to 94th Street = 3rd Thursday of the month
- Brush = 4th Thursday of the month (all streets)
SPECIAL NOTE: Please throw-away the old “Mandatory Recycling Laws” magnets that you may have on your refrigerator, because that information is no longer entirely accurate. Sea Isle City’s Department of Public Works is in the process of creating new literature with the latest information about Trash and Recycling regulations. CLICK HERE to see the magnet you are asked to throw-away
