MAYOR'S MESSAGE
As the New Year begins, we turn our attention to fine-tuning Sea Isle City’s 2019 Municipal Budget and finalizing plans for the approaching summer season, which we expect will be our best ever because there are a lot of exciting things happening in the year ahead. Those who enjoy spending time in Sea Isle City can expect another great summer on our beaches and an electrifying selection of entertainment options at the Excursion Park Band Shell, including city-sponsored concerts, movies, family dance parties, festivals and special events – each of which has been included in our 2019 budget. 


CITY COUNCIL'S MESSAGE
Our last City Council meeting of the year took place on December 26 in Council Chambers. No ordinances were introduced or had second reading during that meeting. However, there were twenty-one Resolutions on the December 26 Consent Agenda, including…

CHRISTMAS TREE DISPOSAL
How To Dispose of Live Christmas Trees

When the Christmas rush is over, the Department of Public Works will collect fresh-cut (live) Christmas Trees each Friday in January. Residents are reminded to please remove all decorations (including tinsel) before placing their fresh-cut Christmas trees on the curb for collection. For additional information, please phone the DPW at 609-263-6000

Sea Isle City was created to be a tourist destination. To accommodate the horde of anticipated early visitors, the city saw the construction of 30+ hotels before the end of the 19th century – only a decade or so after Charles Landis started to develop his island into a resort to be reckoned with.
