From Mayor Leonard Desiderio...
The weather is changing and there are signs of spring all around us here in Sea Isle City. It seems that everywhere you turn, folks are shedding their heavy coats, daffodils are in bloom, migratory birds are returning to our island, and people are beginning to open their windows to enjoy the warmer temperatures and fresh salt air. Also, many of our local shops have been open since Presidents Weekend, and there are plenty of dining options to choose from when you’re in search of a hearty meal. Say what you like about the summertime, but the springtime can be just as enjoyable and definitely worth experiencing here at the Jersey Shore.

- Ordinance 1678, which was written to regulate stacked parking and the use of mechanical parking lifts in all zoning districts.
- Ordinance 1679, which is a routine ordinance written in conjunction with our Municipal Budget as a mechanism to allow the city to roll over unused “CAP” money for potential use in future years.

Change in The Bulk Trash Collection Schedule
Please be aware that the Sea Isle City Department of Public Works has made a slight change to its City-Wide Bulk Trash Collection Schedule. There is also a change to the Weekly Bulk Trash Collection Schedule. Effective immediately, Weekly Bulk Trash Collections will take place through the month of April (not through May). Here is the weekly Bulk Trash Collection Schedule (October thru April):

- 45th to 70th Street = 2nd Thursday of the month
- 71st to 94th Street = 3rd Thursday of the month
- Brush = 4th Thursday of the month (all streets)
Please Remember: The only Bulk Trash collection being made during the month of May is the City-Wide Collection on Thursday May 12 (the second Thursday of May).
