If you need a little extra help with homework, or a quiet place to study, come by the Media Center for math and science help, and the College and Career Center for English, world language, and social science help after school from 2:37-4:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays! Our awesome and highly qualified LAHS teachers are available to answer questions and lend some help during this time.

During the construction chaos, the College and Career Center got a new home! We are now at the bottom of the round building, facing Los Alamitos Blvd, formerly Room 754. Come by at nutrition, lunch, or after school to say "hi", get a work permit application, check in about scholarships, or to ask questions!

Community College Information Night
Get information on Community Colleges at the Community College Fair, then hear from our Community College
experts on the application process,
and the amazing opportunities that these
schools have to offer
-Tuesday, February 11th- 6:30 PM in the PAC
Community College Week (visits in the College and Career Center)
: Community Colleges will come to the College and Career Center for small-group meetings that will allow you to get more information on their schools and programs, and have your questions answered!
*You must sign up on Naviance under 'Colleges', then 'Research Colleges', then 'College Visits' . You may only choose 2 visits to attend as you will be missing class time.

Louie Gallagher!
This outstanding student
participates in our ROP/CTE programs, and
was recognized by the
Los Alamitos/Seal Beach Rotary Club.
Jackie Sherman, Louie's digital media and art teacher says, "Louie excels in digital media on multiple platforms. On top of hosting the high school's bi-weekly news show he is also directs, shoots, edits his own segments and strings each episode together. He's the backbone of the production helping to guide others as they come up. Louie pitches quality content by coming up with insightful, producible, and unique ideas. Still, almost more importantly than any of this, he has something that cannot necessarily be taught. He has the motivation and the can-do personality to really make it in the industry. I expect to hear big things about this kid."
