During Orientation Week, MCS Staff and Faculty had the opportunity to cover the walls and floor of the new Center for Worship and Performing Arts with God's promises. With prayer, construction sounds, and worship music in the background, we followed Deuteronomy 6:9 "Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
We look forward to sharing the evening with you. Parents only please.
We invite you to enjoy a cup of coffee and fellowship by the flagpole.

Middle School Fall Kickoff Chapel 2018
Our first chapel of the year was nothing short of spectacular! Mr. Lucas and his incredibly anointed worship team led us in a powerful time of praise to our King, where students were ushered into His presence. Our first chapel speaker of the year, quite fittingly, was our middle school leader Mrs. Harrison! She delivered a message that was clear and applicable to every student regarding the "filters" through which we see life. Some filters hide our flaws, some filters warp the truth and present an inaccurate version of what is actually real. Often times the filters we use to view ourselves, to view others, to view difficulties we are faced with, aren't the same way that God views those things. She challenged us to let go of our own filters and pick up HIS, specifically saying, "Consider how you see things, and line them up with Him. And if they don't match, then He wants to give you new ones. Will you let him?"
Please enjoy these highlights from Mrs. Harrison's message. We encourage you to ask your child specifically about what the Lord spoke to them this morning, and what specific thing they felt was standing in the way of them dropping their own filters, and picking up His.
Stay tuned for more photos from Fall Kickoff, including Teal vs. Black competitions and the afternoon water fun!
