Wow! Thank you to everyone who attended our annual Community Day & Parade this past weekend. The parade began on Wilson Mills Road and was filled with residents, families, and friends to help us kick start our big day. The weather was picture perfect and the park was full of music, food, and fun. A sincere thank you goes out to the Community Day Committee, Ward 3 Council Representative, Anthony DeLisio, and Community Day Chairperson, Justin Ketchem.

Bring the whole family for an opportunity to meet members from our Fire, Police, and Service Departments. You can also check out our Police, Fire, and Service Department vehicles and equipment. There will be free hot dogs, music, snacks, and giveaways.
Plan to stay for Music at the Gazebo, which will also be held on Thursday, July 27th. Blue Evolution will be playing music from the British Invasion Era from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Stop by to say "hello" as I will be grilling hot dogs for this event. We look forward to seeing you for a great night of music.
We are gearing up for another busy weekend in our Community Park. The City of Highland Heights will be hosting the 2023 Suburban Swim League Championships. Please be advised that the Highland Heights Community Pool will be closed to the public on Saturday, July 29th and Sunday, July 30th due to this large event. Highland Heights residents with annual pool passes may visit the Mayfield Village Parkview Pool where your annual pass will be honored. Highland Heights residents who do not have an annual pass can visit the Mayfield Village Parkview Pool and pay the daily walk-in fee required by Mayfield Village. Good luck to the Highland Heights Hurricane's and all of this weekend's swimmers!
The Cuyahoga County Resurfacing Project on Wilson Mills Road is near completion. Beginning on Sunday, July 30th, in the late afternoon, the contractor will begin placing the final lift of asphalt. This work will take place through the overnight hours. Striping is expected to be completed by the end of next week (weather permitting). Thank you for your patience during this extensive project.
There will be a Special Election held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. All wards vote at the Highland Heights Community Center. Polls open at 6:30 a.m. and will close at 7:30 p.m. Please be sure to bring proper identification with you on Election Day.
