The online instructions on our website have been updated and only the YouTube link will be provided in the weekly E-Notes. There will not be a Zoom room reserved after January 22. If you are a regular Zoom user, we recommend that you try using YouTube this week. We think you'll appreciate the better sound quality and the more reliable connection you get with YouTube.
A Message from the Search Committee
Happy New Year from the Search Committee! We are now into the discernment phase of our
search for a new minister. We have received the packets of interested ministerial candidates and are busy reading, listening, and talking to candidates and references on Zoom. We are sorry to report that one of our members, Craig Farr, has decided to step down from the committee because of scheduling and other commitments. We are so grateful for his insight and contributions to the committee and we will miss him as we move forward. Our next milestone is at the end of January, when we hope to issue invitations to candidates to join the committee for pre-candidating weekends. We will continue to update all of you as we progress and thank you for entrusting us with this important work.

Raising Up Reproductive Justice
For the first time, retail pharmacies, from corner drugstores to major chains such as CVS and Walgreens, will be allowed to offer abortion pills in the United States under a recent regulatory change made by the Food and Drug Administration. The action could significantly expand access to abortion through medication. Under the new rules, patients will still need a prescription from a certified health care provider. (New York Times)
