Many of us stayed up until midnight on New Year’s Eve. Some stayed up to welcome the new year in, while others stayed up to make sure the old year left! Well, ready or not, here we are in a new year! I have prayed that 2022 will be a blessed and prosperous year for each of you individually, as well as for us as a church. Actually, the emphasis is not on what we will receive, but rather on what we give of ourselves as opportunities to be obedient, to serve, to be faithful, to grow spiritually, to give generously, to worship truthfully, to live joyfully, to forgive freely, and to love sacrificially are placed before us. When we consistently and favorably respond to these opportunities as they are presented to us in 2022, we will be blessed and prosperous indeed!
We have several adult volunteers who work with our youth, and who have been laboring hard to keep our program on track and provide the best experience for our youth. Right now they are in the midst of putting the finishing touches on one of our biggest annual youth events – DNOW. I understand that we are still in need of a few host homes. Folks, if any of you can host a few of our youth boys or girls for the weekend of January 21-23, we need you! Please phone the church office and let us know that we can count on you!
For His Glory!
Dan
