From the positive comments I have received from so many of you, this sermon series based upon the Psalms in the January Bible Study has been well received. I hope you are seeing the Psalms from a different perspective than, perhaps, you normally view them. Some of you have been excited that you are learning things from the Psalms you had not known.
The same can be said concerning our Wednesday evening Bible Study in which I am teaching a survey of the Bible, book by book. As you learn the background of the various books, how they fit in Israel’s history, in what regard they are connected to Jesus, and what application they have for your life today, my hope is that you will be able to see the individual books of the Bible as merely chapters in one continuous story. The Bible is exciting; it is God-breathed; it is alive; it is life-changing; it is inerrant; it is infallible; and it is the greatest story ever – the story of God’s love for you and His quest to have a relationship with you!
Thank you handbell choir, the Celebration Ringers. And thank you, Jet Clogher, for reciting Psalms 100 and 150 for us. You all added so much to our worship Service this past Sunday! This coming Sunday our Youth Pastor, Rhys Everspaugh, will be preaching. I am already looking forward to another great day of worship!
You are loved!
