We had a wonderful Prayer Luncheon this past Thursday, The National Day of Prayer! Thank you to everyone who had a part in making it such a success. And, a special thanks to Bro. Brad for organizing it and lining up our program participants.
Parent / Child Dedication is always special, and Sunday was no exception! It was such a joy to dedicate Scarlette Tre’ce Jarrell (Ryan & Regan Jarrell), Embry David Badeaux (Bob & Pamela Badeaux), Arley Grey Butler (Jared & Breanna Butler), and Bradley Hollander (Dean & Aryna Hollander).
After Sunday, our gym donations stand at $331,369. While our total continues to creep up, I can’t help but reflect upon how much further we have to go. Folks, as I have reminded us before, if we pray and ask God how much He would have us give, and then give obediently, we will have done all we can do and the need will be met.
Before we can blink, another senior class will have graduated! Many of our high school seniors have set up memory tables in the Welcome Center. Please take time to go by and look at them. In their behalf, allow me to thank all of you who have tended them in nursery; taught them in Sunday School, Mission Friends, RAs/GAs, and VBS; chaperoned them; and given to their fundraisers. Most of all, thank you for the godly example you have set for them. Because you have given of yourself to them, you have made an impact on their lives now and in the future.
We will recognize our graduating high school seniors on Sunday, May 22nd. We would also like to acknowledge all who are graduating from college (any degree level) or vocational school. Rhys is collecting information on the high school seniors. All others are encouraged to phone the church office as soon as possible so we can collect your information.
Blessed to Be a Part of the Family of God at RPBC!
