Thank you, church family, for enabling Janice and me to enjoy this coming week in sandy Florida. We’re still not sure about sunny, but we plan to enjoy whatever weather God has planned. I want to remind you that Mickey Clogher will be leading the Bible Study this Wednesday evening. And, Rhys’ brother, Cooper Everspaugh, will be preaching next Sunday. I look forward to seeing all of you when we get back!

 

Sunday I reported that the Gym Concept Committee and Trustees met with the Contractor this past week. He has begun the process of obtaining firm, up-to-date bids from his subcontractors. That process should take approximately 2 to 3 weeks. At that time, our Trustees will be able to sign a contract that will get the ball rolling on the construction. At present, the total donations and pledges toward the building of our gym is $859,156. That only leaves us $90,844 short of our need! Let’s consider this next 2 to 3 weeks the home stretch, and let’s sprint to the finish line! Thank you to everyone who has already given so faithfully and generously!
