Once again we were blessed to open another 11:00 service with a baptism, as Rhys baptized one of our youth, Kiara (Kiki) Gowdy. That makes 7 baptisms over a 5-week span, and there is still another baptism to be scheduled. John 3:8 compares the work of the Holy Spirit to the wind, which blows where it wishes. It is humbling to see the result of the Holy Spirit gently blowing through our services.
Sunday, the Personnel Committee recognized Nadia Young for 15 years as our Receptionist / Education Secretary. Over the course of 15 years, she has answered more than 15,000 phone calls, ordered and distributed over 12,000 pieces of Sunday School literature, and published more than 2300 newsletters, worship service bulletins, and prayer guides. These are only a small part of all she does to keep our church organizations and ministries running smoothly – all the while being everything to everybody! Thank you, Nadia, for your servant’s heart and 15 years of loyal service to the body of our Lord Jesus Christ!
You are Loved!

Entreat me not to leave you,
Or to turn back from following after you;
For wherever you go, I will go;
And wherever you lodge, I will lodge;
Your people shall be my people,
and your God, my God.
