From The Pastor
The response to my challenge for RPBC Prayer Partners has been awesome! On Sunday, the first day, we received the 24 teams I hoped for. But, it is not too late. There is no limit placed on teams praying for our church and country. If you want to be a part, please phone the church office, or turn your card in by next Sunday. Our Prayer Committee will soon begin to distribute guidelines and prayer needs.

Thank you so much to those who have given to our project of replacing the Sanctuary projectors and screens with LED monitors (think BIG – 85” TVs)! So far, $1900 has been given, and we only need $3100 more to get this project rolling! As I have shared with you, one of our Sanctuary video projectors has broken, and being obsolete is no longer supported by the manufacturer. A new one will cost between $8000 - $10,000. We are making do with a smaller one we have on hand, but due to its smaller capacity, we are limited in what we can project with it. The cost to replace all 3 projectors and screens with large LED TVs that will yield a much better picture is only $5000. If you feel led to contribute, please contact me as soon as possible.

Men, please allow me to remind you that we are in the process of preparing a list of men who are eligible to be nominated to serve as deacons in place of those who will be rotating off at the end of this calendar year. If you have prayed and know that you will decline to serve should you be nominated, please phone the church office and have your name removed from the list. The Deacons will approve the list on September 13th, and the church will nominate candidates on October 4th.
