Wow! The Ladies Christmas Luncheon this past Saturday was a tremendous success! The tables were beautifully decorated, and everyone appeared to have a great time. Several expressed to me that they were so appreciative of being able to attend and have something that seemed “normal” at this time of the year. Local real estate broker and company owner Tammy Valente gave a wonderful testimony of how God cured her of cancer. Anita Kendrick, RPBC Women’s Ministry Director, did such an awesome job in organizing, preparing, and leading this superb event. Thank You! to Anita, all of the table hostesses, Charlie Culver and the men who served, Bro. Brad for setting up and running the sound, and all of the ladies who made this such a success through your participation.
This coming Sunday, December 13th, the Handbell Choir will perform their Christmas musical in both services. Following their performance, I will continue with the Christmas series of messages entitled, “Tell Me the Story of Jesus.” Over the course of 4 weeks we are revisiting this most wonderful story, from original sin to the birth of Christ. It is important that we know the WHOLE story so we can talk about it at home, and share it with those we influence. The message this Sunday will be, “A Harbinger Named John.” Come join us this Sunday!
We’ve a Story to Tell!
