From the Pastor

We had an exciting day of worship with Kenny Evans this past Sunday! I have heard so many positive comments concerning his singing and testimony / message. We also rejoice with Madison Replogle, who made her profession of faith in the 11:00am service!

I want to thank you for your generosity in giving to Kenny’s love offering. $1622 was the combined total from both services. I have had inquiries about Kenny’s CDs and thumb drive. He is sending me a few, and I will let you know when I receive them. You can reserve a thumb drive by letting me know, but I won’t know the CD titles and contents until I receive them.

Congratulations to Aiden Miltier, Anna Kate Breland, Jenson Abercrombie, and Madison Replogle for successfully completing Association Bible Drill! They will advance to the State Drill in Petal Saturday, April 17^th. Please continue to pray for them and their leaders: Brad & Lori Replogle and Lila Balch.

Our Annie Armstrong Easter Offering goal was $5,000. To date, $4,768 has been given, leaving us short of our goal by $282. After one more week I will reluctantly acknowledge that we have all given as we were led and instruct Jennifer to send off our offering.

One final note: Janice and I are taking vacation next week and will spend a few days in sunny Florida. Austin will be preaching on April 25^th. Please be in prayer for him and us. Thank you in advance!

State Bible Drill will take place at Petal/Harvey Baptist Church on Saturday, April 17 from 10 am - 1 pm.

CHURCH OFFICE: Staff has returned to the office but we are temporarily closed to the public. We are available for our church members but we ask that you please contact the church office prior to entering building.

COMMITTEES:

All Committees may resume meeting as needed.

Must meet in Fellowship Hall as to adhere to social distancing rules.
Contact the church office to schedule meetings ahead of time. This is to assure we do not double book and have time to clean between meetings.

Church Volunteer Teams:

Security Teams, Ushers and Nursery Workers (Nursery 11 am) will be needed during our worship services. We will be sending reminder cards and list info in weekly bulletins.
