We are back! This is the day we have been waiting for since March. All of our Sunday School departments will be meeting this Sunday, October 4th, and our Wednesday night Prayer Meeting and children's activities on Wednesday, October 7th! We recognize that the risks associated with COVID-19 remain very real. Therefore, precautions and guidelines have been published for Sunday School to complement those established for the worship services. Among those are that masks are still strongly encouraged, but not required. The most effective precaution we can all take is:
- If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days (longer if you are still exhibiting symptoms) or have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days,
- If you have a fever, are coughing, sneezing, have a runny nose or sore throat,
- If you are experiencing shortness of breath and/or have lost your sense of taste or smell,
- If you are not feeling well.....
PLEASE STAY HOME as a precaution!
With the re-start of Sunday School, we expect an attendance boost in the 11:00 am service. Therefore, beginning this Sunday, October 4th, we will remove the ropes for the 11:00 am service ONLY, opening up all the pews for occupancy. The ropes will REMAIN in position to restrict seating for the 8:30 am service. Sunday evening services and activities will continue to be suspended for the time being.
This Sunday you will be asked to nominate 4 men to serve as deacons for the next 3 years. A list of eligible men will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to circle up to 4 names. Please be in prayer concerning this important ministry responsibility and come prepared to vote.
Great and Mighty is the Lord Our God!
