What a great day we experienced yesterday! The Children’s camp report was so uplifting as we saw the excitement of the children. Thank you Lori Replogle and chaperones / group leaders who provided such an awesome experience for our children! We were also excited for Sawyer Harrelson as Austin baptized him. And, we rejoice with Dean (profession of faith) and Aryna Hollander (statement) as they joined our faith family, along with their 7-month old son, Bradley! God is so good!
Janice and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts as you recognized our 5th year anniversary with a generous love gift and a month-long sabbatical. Janice was not able to stand with me at the 11:00am service, because she was doing what she does: serving the Lord behind the scenes. Yesterday was her day to work in the nursery. Then, last night she helped June Crider with kitchen duties for VBS. On Wednesday nights she works alongside some precious, dedicated ladies guiding our Mission Friends. Prior to COVID (and hopefully again one day soon) she sang in the choir. And, she faithfully makes her weekly phone calls as part of our Contact Ministry. I could not do what I do without her help and support. I am blessed to call her my wife. And, we are both blessed to call RPBC not only our church home, but our family. We love you!
This past Friday, June 25th, marked Brad Replogle’s 9th anniversary at RPBC. He passed Dr. Dale Patterson (8 years) in becoming the 3rd longest tenured staff member in the 88-year history of this church, and 2nd in length of consecutive years (John Brock served here 13 years). Bro. Brad has worn many hats as he faithfully served. No one sees all that he does, but we couldn’t make it without him. He also provides much needed comical relief on occasion! Happy 9th RP Anniversary Brad, Lori, Molly Grace, and Madison!
Due to my sabbatical, I will be “missing” around here for the next 4 weeks. I hate that others will have to take up my slack, but I am grateful for Brad, Austin, Jennifer, and Nadia who really do all of the work around the office anyway!
Blessed to be Your Pastor!
Dan
