In case of technical difficulties, we will do our best to recover anything recorded and post it at a later time.

Recently, the U.S. government has stopped grants and funding for immigration and refugee resettlement. Questions and misinformation have surrounded the issue of immigration and the work the ELCA (and other organizations) does in this area. So, as Mission Interpreters, we hope to bring clarity and accurate information about Immigrants and Refugees and the services provided by the ELCA. This work is completed by the branch of the ELCA called Global Refuge. Click here to read more!

During Lent, the Sunday School students are asking you to help them collect items for Personal Care Kits to send to Lutheran World Relief! Items needed are:

  • Light-weight bath towels (20”x40” and 27”x52” specifically) darker color recommended
  • Bath-sized bars of soap (4 to 5 oz)
  • Adult size toothbrushes
  • Sturdy hair combs
  • Metal nail clippers

Drop donations in the bins provided in the narthex until April 6. Students will keep count of items and a Thrivent Action Grant will help cover the cost of items not collected. You do NOT need to bring the items already wrapped into a kit this year. Thank you in advance for helping with this Lenten service project!

The La Crosse Area Synod is participating in "The Engaging Children Initiative" which is a five year project to engage children and their families in worship and prayer. You are invited to anonymously share your impressions of worship, your experience with the church and your family's spiritual needs. It should take you less than 15 minutes.

Visit research.net/r/EngagingChildren2025. Thank you.

Nursing/pumping parents, have you been looking for a quiet place to nurse your baby on Sunday mornings? The Nursery can be quite busy, so the Children's Ministry Coordinator's Office (Ann Kvale's office - Room 118) is now being designated a lactation space on Sunday mornings. There are comfortable couches, blankets, and plenty of quiet. Please feel free to use it.

The next Crafters Retreat is April 11-13! We will be meeting again in the Music Room as the youth have a Palm Sunday Breakfast planned. Please sign up at the Welcome Center or contact Karen Guptill at 608-780-5083 to let her know you're coming and how many tables you need (we'll do our best to accommodate).

On Easter Sunday, the sanctuary is decorated with begonias, mums, and hydrangeas purchased with donations. Excess money from this fund will be donated to local organizations that help alleviate poverty and hunger. Fill out the form at church this weekend (or print one here to mail in) and place it in the offering plate with your check payable to English Lutheran Church or drop it off to the church office. Any amount is appreciated! Commemorations are listed in the Easter Sunday bulletin.

It is the last PACK of the year for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders! Sign up online or talk with Jared Kronback for a fun night at church!
