Heritage Hurricanes Swim Team Needs YOUR Help

Hello to all our Swim Team Families,

We know that the summer 2024 season is months away, but the planning process starts soon! We need some of our awesome parents to join the Leadership Team for the Heritage Hurricanes. You all help to make our season every summer and without you, the season wouldn’t happen. Our Leadership Team has gotten smaller over the past several years with families moving out of our community. To have a 2024 summer swim season, we need new faces on our team. It’s a great experience to learn how the swim team and HOA work, meet members of our community, and provide a great activity for our kids! Please consider joining and helping to make the 2024 season happen. We will be having a meeting for the next season in early January. If you are interested, please respond to this email with your information or if you have any questions about what it entails, don’t hesitate to reach out to [email protected].

Thank you,

Courtney Sanderson and Dana Johnson

HOA Dues - Important Update

The Heritage Homeowners Association Board of Directors has voted and approved to increase the 2024 annual assessments by $20 per home to equate to a total annual assessment of $440 for each home in the Heritage HOA. The assessments are due semi-annually, with the first assessment of $220 due on January 1, 2024, and the remaining assessment of $220 due on July 1, 2024.

HOA Dues - Autopayment Setup

Please note that when you are setting up autopayments, via ClickPay, for your semi-annual HOA assessments, you will need to set up your autopayments to be paid on January 1 and July 1, as the fees are not posted to your account until five (5) days before the due date of the assessment.

Should you set up autopayments to withdraw a month before these dates, the payment will not go through as the assessment has not yet been posted to your account. However, you may pay them early by indicating the amount you would like to pay vs. selecting “balance due”. In addition, you cannot set up your payment of assessments as a bill payee through your banking institution as the HOA is not set up to receive direct deposits through a banking institution. Payments can only be made through ClickPay or you are welcome to mail in a check to the address indicated on the notice of assessment.

Should you have any questions regarding the set-up of your automatic payments or any general questions about your ClickPay account, please do not hesitate to contact ClickPay at 1-888-354-0135.

PID #7 Updates

Overgrown Areas

The PID 7 team is working on getting any and all overgrown areas throughout the community cleared. All of the overgrown areas in Barksdale Park were cut down last week. As well, the overgrown drainage area on Bewley and Beach St. was also cleared out.

We are in the process of clearing the overgrowth in drainage areas and creek beds at Sinclair Park North, the greenbelt on Ray White, and the creek bed on Riverside. Creek beds with cattails will only be cleared 75% as that’s the max amount the city allows us to remove, drainage areas with cattails will be cleared completely. Should you see any other overgrown areas, please reach out to the new PID 7 manager here.

Motorized Vehicles in the Parks

Please be reminded that no motorized vehicles, such as ATVs and dirt bikes, may be used in PID 7 areas, parks, and trails. The use of these motorized vehicles is prohibited. Thank you for your cooperation.

Ninnie Baird Park Trees

The City of Fort Worth is still working on the pruning and removal work for Ninnie Baird Park. Unfortunately, due to an extraordinary number of emergencies such as trees down on cars and homes, and broken limbs which are blocking entire streets, the City is currently backlogged which is resulting in longer response to items of this

nature. They will be addressing Ninnie Baird Park as soon as they are able.

What parts of the Neighborhood are PID?

Sidewalks, streets, park trails, and greenbelts are owned by the City of Fort Worth. If you have any issues or concerns, please submit a ticket to the City of Fort Worth and include the QR code for the My Fort Worth app. Click here to see more about the My Fort Worth App.

City of Fort Worth Forestry Department

The City is updating the Forestry Plan. Among other things, the plan is used to determine what trees and shrubs are to be preserved when clearing land for development and to determine what trees, shrubs and grasses must be part of landscaping plans for new construction.
