Good afternoon church!
The saguaro has fallen to its knees. Alex and I were talking and we think it is a spiritual message from God, calling us to follow.

This Sunday, join us as we continue with our new series on “The Seven Churches” from the Book of Revelation to St. John. This Sunday we will look at Smyrna, a city just north of Ephesus where there was an early church. Last week I asked you if you thought the angel was a particular and a historical person or whether it was a reference to the whole congregation. We have an interesting look at this question this week as we figure out who Polycarp is. And no, Polycarp is not a three headed fish! Join us this Sunday as we look at the theme, “No Complaints!” Sunday School will meet during worship in the Friendship Hall and BASE Life Youth will meet after worship over at Black Rock Coffee Shop.
Next Tuesday, we have a fund-raising opportunity for the school and church at Chipotle. Here’s how you can help: from 4-8pm on April 23, purchase dinner from Chipotle on Frank Lloyd Wright and Thompson Peak! You can order on the app using the code on the flyer that is shown below and printed on the table in the narthex. You can also mention the fundraiser or show the flyer if you order in person.
I hope to see you in worship of our Crucified and Risen Savior! He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!
