Good evening Church!

I want to share a quick update on our granddaughter, Marigold (Goldie) and her surgery that was scheduled for yesterday. It was postponed until September. They are trying to find an appropriately sized donor valve for her pulmonary valve. Because they didn’t have one yesterday, they have postponed the surgery for several weeks. Please keep her and her family in your prayers!  THANK YOU!

4th Sundays are back!  Join us this Sunday for our traditional worship at 9:00 am or for our family service at 10:30 am.  At the 9:00 am Service we will look at the last section of John 6, “I Am the Bread of Life” chapter. Our focus will be on John 6: 56-69 where many of the disciples’ desert Jesus because of his teaching. Jesus asks his disciples (the twelve) “are you also going to leave? Peter responds with the familiar words, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. “This week’s theme for the early service will be “Deserted and Abandoned!”

Our theme for the family service will be “In the Beginning...” We will look at each of the days of creation and see how they were all good days! We will celebrate the creation of Adam and Eve and be reminded of why we should rest and worship on the Sabbath. The fall will remind us of our need for God and his forgiveness. Join us for our family service this Sunday. And stay for some fellowship! We will have some special treats and some encouraging conversations.

We hope to see you this Sunday!
