This Sunday's Theme:

"The Confession"

Jonah 4:1-3

In-person and Live Stream to Facebook and YouTube at 10:30 AM

I am happy to share with you that our sweet little Goldie Lou is improving. She was moved out of ICU, but she is having some issues with her lungs. They will continue to keep a close eye on her over the next few days, but we are thankful for the less acute care. We are also so grateful to God and to you, the church, for your prayers, love, and support that you have shared with our family. Thank you! And to keep up on the news of Goldie, go to www.heartofgoldie.blog to read the latest blog post.

Next Wednesday we begin our Lenten season with Ash Wednesday. We will offer two services where you may come and offer your repentance, receive ashes and the absolution of God, through Jesus Christ. We will be out on the patio (weather permitting) on Wednesday, February 14th at 8:15 am for our morning service. We will also have a service on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm, indoors. I hope you will join us for one of those opportunities to gather, reflect, repent, and begin an intentional discipled life for the season of Lent.

This Sunday will be the WM Open and the Super Bowl. Because of these events we will not be meeting for BASE Life. Enjoy time with your family!

We will be meeting for worship, however. And we are looking at “The Confession” (Jonah 4: 1-3)! This is where Jonah is totally exasperated by God because he finally did exactly what God had called him to do, and he got the result that he expected. Have you been frustrated with God? Perhaps you can relate. Join us Sunday morning at 10:30 am for worship!

Shalom!

Pastor Steve
