This Sunday's Theme:

"Unbelief and Faith!"

Mark 6:1-13

In-person and Live Stream to Facebook and YouTube at 10:30 AM

Good afternoon friends,

Happy Independence Day! I hope that you enjoy your festivities as we celebrate our nation’s birth! We are planning a good old cookout on the grill this evening. (Don’t tell my cardiologist!)

Our Church President, Lisa Durkee shared with the congregation last Sunday that we have a pledge from a couple of additional donors for our “Get out of Red!” matching fund. The total is now $13,500.00. That means that they are challenging us the congregation to give at least $13,500.00 in addition to our regular giving. If we do this as a congregation, they will release their matching funds. But if we don’t make it, they are not obligated to give their matching pledge. So, I want to invite you and challenge you to give so that we can receive the full $13.500.00 in matching funds.

This is how we will do it. We have pledge/donation cards to distribute for you to make your gift/donation or your pledge. You can also send a pledge into Bri at the office by emailing her at office@newcovenantaz.org and placing your name, your donation/pledge on the email. Whether you give in person or give online, please mark your donation/pledge card, or send an email so that we can make sure to include your gift towards the matching funds. As we receive gifts and donations, we will keep you updated on our status. I hope that you will join us as we work to help New Covenant to

“Get out of Red!”

Join us this Sunday as we gather for worship. Again, we have two stories from Mark. These illustrate the rejection of Jesus by some and the commitment of his teaching by others. Our scripture will be Mark

6: 1-13 as we look at the challenge and the promise of “Unbelief and Faith!”
