Good afternoon!
One of the greatest responsibilities of parents is to encourage their children to become wise. Wisdom can be passed on from parents to children, from generation to generation. Ultimately, of course, all wisdom comes from God. Parents can only encourage their children to turn to Him. If you, like me, were taught in this way you can learn from the scriptures and then create a legacy of wisdom as you teach your own children. You can raise cattle and you can rear children.
God’s Word is a powerful growth agent. This week we will be looking at Mark 4:26-34 at how Jesus teaches on the Parable of the Growing Seed and Mustard Seed. Two parables that go hand in hand and reflect God’s wisdom. God our Father is the Good Father that every heart longs for, regardless of your experience with your father this side of Heaven. Our Father in Heaven loves to see us grow in His wisdom and teaches us what we must do to flourish. God’s wisdom is our source of nourishment that helps us grow healthy and strong like a tree planted alongside a riverbank, bearing fruit in every season. Join us this Father’s Day weekend as we learn about fruitful living from God our Father.
Hope to see you Sunday,
Alex Duarte
