This Sunday's Theme:

"The Thin Line Between Fear and Faith"

Mark 4:35-41

In-person and Live Stream to Facebook and YouTube at 10:30 AM

Good evening friends,

I wanted to share with you that our giving has declined, and we are currently looking at nearly a $14,000.00 deficit as of the end of April. I know that it is summer, and our giving always nose-dives during this time of year. And I don’t want to be “Doom and Gloom Pastor” but I do want to encourage you, if you have fallen behind in your giving, to do your best to catch up. The Board of Ministry is also working on a deficit reduction plan. We have had several donors who have begun a matching fund to challenge the congregation to give. You will hear more about this on Sunday! In the meantime, thank you for those of you who are faithful givers and thank you to those who have given sacrificially. The church continues to provide compassionate and caring ministry because of you! Thank you!

I also want to share a few of prayer requests with you.

  • Please surround Ron Shelton and his family as they mourn the death of his son Dean.
  • We pray for a full recovery for Sally Marrs from an angioplasty treatment earlier this week.
  • We pray for healing and good pathology results for Greg following surgery this week. We pray for peace for him and his family as they await results.
  • We pray for comfort for the family and friends of Julie Shangle who passed away this week after a long battle with cancer.
  • And our Goldie McMahan will have a minor surgery tomorrow to place a g-tube for her to better receive nutrition.

Thank you for all your prayers and remember if you have a prayer request/need, please let us know!

Join us this Sunday as we look at the story of when Jesus Calms the Storm (Mark 4: 35-41). The theme for this week will be a discussion on “The Thin Line Between Fear and Faith.” I hope you will be able to join us.
