This Sunday's Theme:

"Who Let You In?"

John 12:20-33

In-person and Live Stream to Facebook and YouTube at 10:30 AM

For those who are enjoying your Spring Break this week, I hope that you are having a wonderful time and enjoying your break from school. Sunday, March 17, we will celebrate St. Patrick and his influence on the church – he was a 5th century evangelist, noted for bringing and renewing the Christian faith into Ireland. I know that some folks think that it is a day to drink green beer. However, the day might be better celebrated by sharing one’s faith.

On Monday things start up around here once again as we begin to get closer to Easter. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 23 for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Preschool Playground.

Youth Confirmation will meet this Sunday! We are walking over to Black Rock Coffee for our youth gathering. All are welcome! We will cover the costs of coffee, but if you would like some snacks (or pizza) bring some extra money!

This Sunday we move into the 5th week of Lent. Our scripture will be from John 12: 20-33, where Jesus talks about his upcoming “upside down” glory. I think the remarkable thing about Jesus is even in the face of his coming death and some hard teachings, he seems to be the most hospitable person I have ever known. And this hospitality may be a part of what is getting him into trouble. Hence, my sermon theme this week is “Who let you in?”

If you are a basketball fan, I hope that your favorite team is winning your conference tournament. And if you are a movie aficionado, I hope that your favorite movies won some awards Sunday night. In the meantime, I hope to see you in worship this Sunday.
