Good evening Church,
Join us for a very special Palm/Passion weekend and Holy Week. We have several special events that begin on Saturday.
-
Saturday, March 23rd from 9:00 am – 10:00 am join us at the Preschool for Easter Family Fun Day. We will have Easter egg hunts with fun activities and crafts for the children. We are also anticipating a visit from the Easter Bunny.
-
Sunday is Palm/Passion Sunday so we will not be observing our 4th Sunday. We will have ONLY one service this Sunday at 10:30 am with Sunday School provided. Join us as we enjoy the sounds of the Bell Choir and gather with palm branches as we look at John’s depiction of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. (John 12: 12-19)
-
Youth will be meeting at Black Rock following worship this Sunday. We will be focusing on the 8th Commandment and downplaying and over-exaggerating something.
-
Sunday evening join us for the Premier showing of “Following the Footsteps” of Jesus at 6:00 pm. Begin your Holy Week in a new way by joining us to watch this documentary on the Holy Land. This is a 90-minute movie about following in the biblical, historical, and archeological footsteps of Jesus. Join us for a premier showing Sunday, as we gather for some popcorn and the movie. We will provide childcare for a free-will offering. If you plan to take advantage of childcare, please sign up here, by Friday at 5pm.
-
Next Thursday (March 28), join us for our Maundy Thursday Potluck and Celebration. We will gather at 5pm for a potluck dinner. We will enjoy some singing, and Annie will lead us through the story of Holy Week. Like last year, we will make homemade communion bread for Easter Sunday. This is a child-friendly event so I hope that you will join us!
Looking forward to seeing you as we prepare for Holy Week!
