This Sunday's Theme:

"Missing the Point!"

Mark 2:23-3:6

In-person and Live Stream to Facebook and YouTube at 10:30 AM

Good afternoon Church!

We had busy week last week with all the end of the school year events so this week we are recuperating – kind of – getting ready for next week. Next Monday at 9:00 am we are kicking off our week of VBS called “Stellar!” So, this week is a week of preparing for the big week. We closed registration when we hit 125 children. Thankfully, we have nearly 60 volunteers – it’s not too late to help for the week - if you would like to volunteer to assist.

We are praying for this to be a transformational week for many families. Last year, Alex and Annie asked us to pray for five new families from VBS and the Preschool.  God has answered that prayer. So, we will pray that again this year – so that more families can experience the joy and love of a deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Let’s pray our vision – That God would make Jesus Christ the heart of every home that we encounter through VBS and the Preschool.

How do you treat the Sabbath (Sunday)? Do you rest from your work, or do you treat it as just another day of labor? Jesus was confronted about his teaching on the Sabbath. He had an unusual interpretation. This Sunday we will gather to take a deeper look at this issue. If you want to read ahead, look at Mark 2: 23 - 3:6. Jesus begins with his teaching on the Sabbath and then he demonstrates it with a practical application. Join us Sunday as we take a closer look at Jesus’s teaching!
