All concerts are at 6:00pm in the CGE Gymnasium. Performing students should plan to arrive by 5:45pm, and wear nice, festive clothing. 

2nd/3rd Grades: Thursday, December 7th

All Bands and Choirs: Tuesday, December 12th

Student Council Spirit Fridays

The CGE Student Council is sponsoring spirit days on Fridays until winter break. Here are the dates and themes:

December 8th: Eighties day

December 15th: Teachers dress like students, and students dress like teachers

STEM Fair

Our CGE STEM Fair is Tuesday, January 30! The fair is open to all students who would like to participate and mandatory for 5th and 6th graders. For more information you can contact your child's classroom teacher or Ms. Garcia.  tanyagarcia@sfps.k12.nm.us

The Giving Tree is Back! There are still tags available!!

Every holiday season, Carlos Gilbert Elementary sets up a Giving Tree in the school's foyer to collect gifts for Blackhawk families in need. Gift tags with requested items are hanging on the tree. Yake a tag and return it with a wrapped gift by Tuesday, December 12th to help bring some holiday magic to CGE children. Each student receives a clothing item, book, or toy and their family will receive a grocery card. Please bring the wrapped gifts to the CGE office. Thank you for participating in our Giving Tree project and providing extra help to those who need it.

The Carlos Gilbert PTK is a dedicated group of Parents, Teachers, and Kids working to raise money, support the classrooms, and encourage our kids. We help keep our Blackhawk spirits soaring high!
