STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE CHURCH ASSEMBLY-SABOR REGARDING THE CONSTITUTION AND THE RELATED GOVERNING DOCUMENTS
САОПШТЕЊЕ ПРЕДСЕДАВАЈУЋИХ ЦРКВЕНОГ САБОРА У ВЕЗИ СА УСТАВОМ И ОДНОСНИМ УПРАВЉАЈУЋИМ ДОКУМЕНТИМА
Апел за помоћ српском народу на
Косову и Метохији
Обраћамо вам се са апелом да се укључите у акцију прикупљања новчаних средстава за наш српски народ на Косову и Метохији. Недавно смо добили писмо нашег Епископа Иринеја са молбом да све наше парохије узму учешћа у овој акцији коју води Рашко-призренска епархија.

An appeal for help Serbian People in
Kosovo and Metohija
We appeal to you to get involved in the fundraising campaign for our Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. We have recently received a letter from our Bishop Irinej with a request that all our parishes take part in this campaign led by the Diocese of Raska-Prizren.

You can mail your donation to the church address (Check payable to St. Sava Cathedral with an indication for Kosovo and Metohija). Also, you can donate your contributions electronically on this link:
Choose option  Other  , then write for Kosovo and Metohija

All funds will be transferred through our Diocese to the Diocese of Raska-Prizren, which manages this humanitarian action.

И изашавши Исус виде многи народ, и сажали му се за њих, и исцели болеснике њихове. А пред вече приступише к Њему ученици Његови говорећи: Овде је пусто место, а доцкан је већ; отпусти народ нека иде у села да купи себи хране. А Исус рече им: Не треба да иду; подајте им ви нека једу. А они рекоше Му: Немамо овде до само пет хлебова и две рибе. А Он рече: Донесите ми их овамо. И заповеди народу да поседају по трави; па узе оних пет хлебова и две рибе, и погледавши на небо благослови, и преломивши даде ученицима својим, а ученици народу. И једоше сви, и наситише се, и накупише комада што претече дванаест котарица пуних. А оних што су јели беше људи око пет хиљада, осим жена и деце. И одмах натера Исус ученике своје да уђу у лађу и напред да иду на оне стране док Он отпусти народ.
8th Sunday after Pentecost

And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.” But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children. Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.
