Learning happens when students feel secure, involved, connected, and aided in their learning environments. For students to learn, they need to feel safe, included, connected, and supported in their classrooms and school. The Kindergarten Classroom Environment Checklist (KCEC) is a tool to systematically analyze the learning environment in which student behavior occurs. This list focuses on a quality learning environment, expectations, and routines that promote academic success in the classroom. This tool can help you set classroom improvement goals, track progress over time, and offer training or technical support opportunities. It is designed to address all relevant areas of the classroom.

Teachers

The Small Grouping Tool automatically groups students based on assessment results to help teachers provide targeted small group instruction. Each skill area is linked to activities to support children in targeted skill development. There is also an option for teachers to build custom small groups.

CIRCLE Activity Collection is an extensive bank of hands-on activities and intervention lessons available in English and Spanish. Lessons include descriptions, learning domains, materials needed, soft scripting, helpful hints, and ways to scaffold.
