Carefrontations Intervention Method

Description

This one-and-a-half-hour course will describe the Carefrontations Intervention Model. The Carefrontations Model is designed to present care, concern and hope in a dignified, respectful, winsome way (all parties win in being seen, heard and feeling safe). The point of the intervention is to offer a plan for help, initiating change. Participants will learn about common intervention misperceptions that stand in the way of individuals accepting help and

will learn which intervention factors contribute to success. Additionally, participants will learn the importance of intervention timelines and intervention boundaries.
