COACH AND PARENT REMINDERS
please don't skip reading this...
Coaches and parents, please take note: after the first set of races, some incidences occurred that need addressing:
1. RFID CARDS: Most ski areas, especially the biggies (Stratton, Killington, Stowe) use RIFD cards for lift access. It is imperative that all coaches and athletes have their cards/tickets on them to obtain lift access. This includes after the athlete’s race run. They must secure a plan to ensure they have their RFID card on them to regain access to the lift post-race run. It is a privilege to be able to compete on busy weekends at our VT resorts. Please make sure your teams/athletes and families have a plan to keep their lift tickets on them.
2 COACH REGISTRATION: ALL COACHES must register for every VARA race on Admin Ski Racing in order to receive a ticket and race TCM information. If you are having problems, PLEASE USE THE CHAT OPTION provided by ASR on the registration platform.

ASR (admin Ski Racing) NEW PLATFORM
TIPS & COMMON ERRORS:
Following are the most common mistakes/issues facing users currently:
- Password Resets: If users didn’t log in to the new website platform back in October, their password reset link has expired. They need to contact us immediately to reset their password. Many parents are trying to log in at the last minute before a race closes, only to realize they’ve never accessed the new platform.
- Syncing Accounts: Many users haven’t synced their participant profiles yet. This must be done manually by navigating to the My Participants page, scrolling to their participant profile, and clicking the Manual Refresh button.
USS AFFILIATION:
Since ASR is now tightly integrated with US Ski & Snowboard, the system pulls license and club information from USSS.

If users don’t see a green check mark for their VARA membership on their profile after purchasing a VARA membership, they need to contact us immediately. This typically indicates missing information on their account, preventing the system from retrieving the data. We have to fix this on the database for it to be synced. It’s best to address these issues before a race registration deadline.
Finding an Event: It's important to note that Clubs and Host Sites are now separated in our system. A club may be the host of the event, but the host site is where the event takes place. There are two ways to find an event on the new platform.

Option 1: Navigate to the All Events page (calendar icon) and filter by region (VARA). They can filter further by sport type and age band, too. Be sure to click the Apply button for the filters to take effect. Events will then populate in alphabetical order by club.

Option 2: Navigate to the Clubs by Region page (skier icon). This page lists all regions with their respective clubs. They can filter by region (VARA). Then, select a club, and their events will populate on the next page.
Anyone who has not logged into Admin Ski Racing yet this year should NOT wait until the last minute. It's suggested that you log in immediately to check profiles under your account and get a password reset if you have not done so already. While ASR addresses all issues within 24 hours of receiving a ticket or email, waiting until the last minute risks missing the registration deadline.
