Counseling and Mental Health Services (CAMHS) has expanded access to counseling services for Harvard students through a partnership with TimelyMD to deliver TimelyCare – a new virtual telehealth and wellbeing platform for students. There has been a growing need for student mental health support and resources and this partnership is an important part of meeting that need. The TimelyCare service provides digital access to telehealth counseling and psychiatry at no cost to students. CAMHS has also created a Clinical Access Team comprised of several full-time staff members who will meet with students who contact CAMHS for mental health services. These Coordinators will perform initial consultations and follow students through the entire process until they have received appropriate treatment.
Harvard University Health Services (HUHS) is committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the University’s students by providing accessible, high-quality, and culturally sensitive mental health services. More information about this offering is detailed below, and in a Gazette article in which Dr. Nguyen and I discuss how this expansion of mental health care will benefit student wellbeing.
Students can access TimelyCare from any web-enabled device. Instructions on how to access the app are available on the CAMHS website.

East of Jieshi mountain, I gaze at the blue sea.
The water dances so gently, the mountain island towers.
Trees here grow thick, a hundred grasses are lush.
The autumn wind soughs, great waves rise up.
The path of the sun and moon, seems to come from within.
The splendid Milky Way, seems to come from inside.
Oh, I am so lucky, to be singing my song!
Walking from Xiamen and Looking at the Blue Sea
