Screenings of Far East Deep South to be held on April 15

The East Asian Studies Center, US-Heartland China Association, Greater Columbus Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and The Ohio State University Libraries will present two screenings of the film Far East Deep South on Saturday, April 15. Each screening will be followed by a discussion with producer Baldwin Chiu.

The on-campus screening will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 180 Hagerty Hall. Admission is free; registration encouraged. Lunch will be served.

The off-campus screening will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 pm. at the Hyatt Regency Columbus Downtown, in conjunction with the 30th Anniversary ASIANetwork Conference, "Moving Forward: ASIANetwork's Next Decade." The film screening is free and open to the public. Registration is required to attend the conference. New community college faculty and OSU graduate students will receive a special discount with code: OSUEAS23.

April 10-14 is Fulbright Week at Ohio State

The Office of International Affairs and the Undergraduate Fellowship Office have combined efforts to provide a full week of events, including information sessions, workshops, and panels, to inform faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students about the opportunities available through the Fulbright and Fulbright-Hays programs. All faculty, professionals, graduate, and undergraduate students are welcome to participate in Fulbright Week April 10-14.
