Kings Enrollment and Long Range Facilities Info

|
We are planning on presenting a new Thoughtexchange process in September that we will be asking our community their thoughts on a final building plan, based on the feedback we have received on the first two Thoughtexchanges.
We have put together a
page on our website that includes all of the past Thoughtexchange results and long range facility information, as well as enrollment growth information.
We will continue to keep you up to date with the process. As always, please don't hesitate to reach out to Kings Superintendent, Tim Ackermann at

Congratulations, Mrs. Frecker!
|
|
Columbia Intermediate School Nurse, Karen Frecker is now a National Certified School Nurse! Mrs. Frecker has been studying for nearly a year to prepare for the National Certification of School Nurses (NCSN) Board Exam.
This professional certification is voluntary. The National Board for Certification of School Nurses (NBCSN) states that this credential that Mrs. Frecker has received reflects competence and professionalism. They write,"
To earn the NCSN a nurse must demonstrate a high level of education, clinical practice experience and knowledge."
To become a NCSN, candidates must be a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree and work as a school nurse for at least 1,000 hours. There are less than 4,000 NCSN's in the country. We are proud to have another National Certified School Nurse here in the Kings Local School District!
