Legacy Partners Luncheon
Sunday, April 28,
12:30 p.m.
By George Ross
Our Endowment Program invites members and friends of this congregation to practice faithful stewardship above and beyond their regular on-going tithes and offerings. Through special gifts given during our lifetime or through planned giving, we can strengthen the ministries of our church and the larger church into the future in perpetuity.
Our church honors every planned gift to the Endowment Fund through an individual’s estate plan with recognition as a Legacy Partner (unless anonymity is preferred). One can also become a Legacy Partner through a current gift of $5,000 or more to the Endowment Fund.
The Legacy Partners Luncheon is an event (funded by individuals anonymously) where we can personally thank these givers and report progress on the funds and where any of the funds may have been used during the prior year.
Donors who have included HBPC in their estate plans should notify the church. It is the only way HBPC will know about the gifts and be able to say “thank you.” Letting us know of your intentions does not create any obligation on the donor’s part.
If you would like to notify the church, call me at 904 477-1578 or email me at
[email protected]
. Also, if you’d like further information about our Endowment Program, I’d be glad to provide that as well.

HBPC YOUTH PRESENTS
A Mystery Dinner Theater at
Hodges Boulevard Presbyterian Church
Saturday, April 27
5:00 to 8:00 p.m. – Fellowship Hall
The year is 1948. The atmosphere is thrilling and sensational. Penelope Parker presents her final radio show before heading to New York for all new television productions. Yet, not everyone is celebrating. The envy of others at the radio station brings a variety of reactions including resentment, betrayal, deception and thievery. Will treachery and injustice rule? Or will you be the winning hero by solving the mystery and finding the guilty culprit?
Don’t miss the fun, food, and prizes!
Dress in 1940’s fashion.
COST: $30/adults, $20/kids 10 and under
Tickets available for purchase starting March 17 between services or from the church office during the week.
