World Communion Sunday
Sunday October 6
The first Sunday in October each year is World Communion Sunday.   It is a day when all Christians celebrate the grace of God.
We need parents (young children may need you to walk with them), youth, and children to help bring in the breads and wave flags from different countries that Sunday morning. If you attend the 9am service, please be there by 8:50 so we can distribute flags and bread. If you attend the 11am service, please be there by 10:50.
Call or text Debbie at 904-521-9491.
Do you have a special date you would like to recognize with flowers during the Sunday morning worship services? There are many available dates on the flower calendar. Please stop by the receptionist's desk and sign up today. The cost is $30 per arrangement.

Global Peace Offering
October 6, 2019

This offering will be collected this Sunday. The money is used to promote the peace of Christ in our communities and across the world. 25% of the offering stays in our church to support local missions. Please give generously.
Your Opinion Matters!

It's coming soon -- your opportunity to give us your opinions about our worship services.  As Pastor Jon has mentioned, Session appointed a task force with the charter of shaping the future of HBPC.  Look for the questionnaire Sunday, September 29, October 6 and October 16; complete while you are here or return it later. Everyone is invited to take the survey... ALL of us have a stake in the future of HBPC. We will share the results once we have them tabulated.

If you have questions, please contact Marie Hix at m_hix@bellsouth.net.
HBPC Preschool Trike-a-Thon
Our preschoolers rode their bikes, trikes, and scooters to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Together they collected over $2500. Way to go!
