Advent means “coming” or “arrival.”   During the season of Advent, we celebrate Christ’s coming into the world and watch with expectant hope for his coming again.

Something New for Advent This Year…
This year we will be exploring the theme of Advent as a season of Growing Light.  As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ, the light of the world, we look with hope for the dawning of God’s new bright creation. And so, each Sunday during Advent we will experience this movement from darkness to brilliant light.  The Worship Committee and Staff invite you to explore what it means to live both in darkness and in light. We pray that this will be a truly meaningful Advent Season for you.
