Hello, my name’s Dakota Czerniak and I am so excited to join HBPC as the new Director of Youth Ministry. I moved to Jacksonville in 2011 to study at the University of North Florida where I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in children, adolescents and teens. I was previously working in the mental health system as a therapist providing mental health services to youth and their families in school, inpatient hospital and clinic settings. I was recently married in November and my husband and I are so excited to have officially planted roots in Jacksonville with our first home. I am so grateful for this opportunity to share my faith and hopeful for what God has in store for myself in this new role, HBPC and our youth ministry.

The youth had a blast (literally an ice cream blast) after cleaning up Jax Beach this past Saturday!! We filled up the church bus, served the community, and then came back to the Fellowship Hall for fantastic yummies!! It was a great day!!

F.L.A.M.E. delivered 527 lbs. of food goods to Arlington Community Services today. Tomorrow they will be feeding the homeless at the Clara White Mission downtown.
