Powering Chicago Executive Director Elbert Walters III to be Featured Panelist in Bisnow’s Future of the Chicago Suburbs Event
July 22, 2021 @ 8:00 - 11:30am
|
Powering Chicago Executive Director Elbert Walters III will be a featured panelist in the Bisnow Future of the Chicago Suburbs event on July 22. Register for the event here.
What You’ll Learn:
- How much of a flight to the suburbs are we actually seeing and what towns are seeing the most activity?
- Multiple major suburban campus redevelopments are underway. What, if anything, did the pandemic change about them?
- Most retail outlets including outdoor shopping centers and malls have struggled over the past year. Could a suburban population boost help these retailers get back on track?
- How will the choices companies make about their workforces affect the future of the ‘burbs?
How You’ll Do More Business: When the pandemic hit last March, Chicago started emptying out. Some residents fled for more space and access to the outdoors. Now that the vaccine is being rolled out, the question is, how many will choose to stay in the ‘burbs?
Who You’ll Meet: Investors, architects, developers, property managers, brokers, city officials, GCs and engineers.
