ECA's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training Series offers Summer Activities for Electrical Contractors |
Please CLICK HERE for the summer DEI training activities for you and your team! These activities can be done in small group sessions, over lunch, a staff meeting or toolbox talk. They are focused as a follow-up to the first DEI Training Session held in May.

Our second quarterly webinar looks at trust, respect and tackling bias. This workshop will take on implicit and unconscious bias by outlining a practical organizational framework that helps participants on their journey "beyond bias." By participating in this training, you will:
● Understand the various biases that people exhibit
● Explore social identities and how those interact with bias
● Learn how to go beyond simple awareness of unconscious bias and discover specific actions to break the habit of biases and their negative consequences
● Leverage talent and cultivate equity, diversity and inclusion in a diverse and global workforce
● Create an individual plan of action to overcome their specific bias challenges and contribute to a culture of greater authenticity and psychological safety at your organization

ECA Chicago is hosting a one-day course for all Office Employees - Non-Bargained Employees, that may include Project Managers, Project Engineers, Estimators, Superintendents, or Management who need to learn more about the requirements for EV Charging Infrastructure Projects.
This is an informational class only, not the EVITP Certification course.
This class will help educate Electrical Contractors’, so they feel confident in bidding and installing Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure. President Biden’s Infrastructure Spending Plan calls for 500,000 new EV Charging Stations across the Midwest, and this course will prepare you to go out and get this work!
We have condensed the 18-hour EVITP Certification course into a one day (8 hour) Informational course that will touch on the following content, so the Contractor has a general understanding of what an EV Charging Infrastructure Project will entail.

The Illinois Mechanical Specialty Contractors Association (IMSCA) is now holding the IMSCA-PAC Raffle for 2021! IMSCA is the lobbying group the ECA utilizes in regard to Illinois General Assembly issues.
The winning tickets will be drawn on September 10, 2021. You do not need to be present to win. Under State Law, IMSCA-PAC can accept both corporate and personal checks.
