A Letter from Fr. Paul as we enter our 2025 Stewardship Season: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, On many Sundays throughout the year, we hear the words “walk in love as Christ loved us” just before we say the communion prayer and partake in Holy Communion. Those words are not just a phrase, they are an invitation to know and share in God’s love manifest in Christ. Generosity is a journey, it’s a practice that we learn and nurture within our hearts. It just isn’t in our nature to give away what we have worked hard to acquire or to donate our precious time without compensation. It takes something as radical as Love to inspire us to share our time, talent, and treasure with others. Youth Christian Formation Starts THIS Sunday with Super “Sundae” Sunday! The first day of Youth Christian Formation is Sunday, Sept. 15 at 9:45am where we will celebrate with our Super ‘Sundae’ ice cream social! You won’t want to miss it! Southern Comforters to Meet This Sunday at Noon & Blessing of the Blankets at 10:30am Service All are welcome to fellowship with those who knit and crochet to make blankets for children in difficult circumstances, and prayer shawls for our parishioners and friends. This ministry meets on the third Sunday of each month after services in the activities building. Additionally, we will bless the blankets this Sunday at the late service before donating them.

'ECA Youth & Reach Ministry Collecting Socks & Underwear Reach is collecting socks and underwear to help our unhoused community now through the end of October. The ECA Youth Sunday School class is taking this opportunity to learn about Jesus' service and giving. We will be collecting new, warm socks for our outreach programs and we are asking for your help! Our small but mighty group is excited about taking on this service project! Please drop off NEW, warm socks for men, women and children in our sock box through the end of October. ECA Reach Collecting Canned Goods for Ministries we Support ECA Supports Must Ministries and Papa’s Pantry by donating canned goods and non-perishables.
